At Turkey Lots, we are committed to providing quality products and excellent customer service. This Refund & Returns Policy explains your rights and our procedures regarding returns, refunds, and exchanges.

Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

You may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund if a product:

  • Is faulty or defective;
  • Is not of acceptable quality;
  • Is not fit for its intended purpose;
  • Does not match its description; or
  • Differs significantly from the sample or representation provided.

Nothing in this policy excludes or limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.


Change of Mind Returns

Due to hygiene, safety, and product integrity requirements, we do not accept returns for change of mind purchases where:

  • The product has been opened;
  • The product has been used;
  • The product seal has been broken; or
  • The product is no longer in its original condition.

We may consider a change of mind return only where:

  • The product remains unopened, unused, and sealed;
  • The original packaging is intact;
  • The return request is submitted within 14 days of delivery; and
  • Proof of purchase is provided.

Approval of change of mind returns is at our discretion.

Original shipping charges are not refundable for change of mind returns.


Damaged, Faulty, or Incorrect Products

If you receive a damaged, faulty, defective, or incorrect item, please contact us as soon as possible after receiving your order.

To assist us in resolving your claim, please provide:

  • Your order number;
  • A description of the issue;
  • Clear photographs of the product; and
  • Photographs of the packaging where relevant.

We may offer a replacement, repair, store credit, or refund depending on the circumstances and your rights under Australian Consumer Law.


Return Conditions

Where a return is approved, products must be returned:

  • In their original packaging where possible;
  • With all included accessories and materials;
  • Securely packaged to prevent damage during transit.

We reserve the right to inspect returned items before processing a refund, replacement, or exchange.


Refunds

Once your return has been received and assessed, we will notify you of the outcome.

Where a refund is approved, it will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.

Refund processing times may vary depending on your financial institution and payment provider but generally take between 5–10 business days.


Return Shipping Costs

Where the return is due to:

  • A faulty product;
  • A damaged item;
  • An incorrect item supplied by us; or
  • A product that does not meet consumer guarantees under Australian Consumer Law,

we will cover reasonable return shipping costs or provide instructions for returning the product.

For approved change of mind returns, customers are responsible for return shipping costs.

We recommend using a tracked shipping service, as we cannot accept responsibility for items lost during return transit.


Order Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled before they have been processed or dispatched.

Once an order has been shipped, cancellation requests may not be possible and the order will instead be subject to this Refund & Returns Policy.


Sale Items

Sale and promotional items are covered by Australian Consumer Law in the same way as full-priced products.

However, sale items are generally not eligible for change of mind returns unless otherwise stated.
